This is hands down my new favorite lip color! You can get them for around $5 at Walmart, CVS, Target, etc. Has some of the best neutral shades I have ever seen. I have bought several different shades already, with my favorites being 08 and 14. The smell on the neutral shades is quite amazing, although I have heard complaints about the red having an odd smell. I have not found them to be too drying and they glide on smoothly. The price point for these are perfect and the neutral shades have replaced my MAC lip colors recently.
First off, this is $3! I have used some products from this line and really I am not a fan. However, this product is worth the $3 and then some. My lips dry very easily, especially with the excessive amount of lipstick that I wear. I use this every day, mainly right before I put on lipstick and it is a game changer. It exfoliates lips and prevents chapping and removes dry/dead skin. The smell is just amazing and it tastes like brown sugar. It can be a bit rough at times and it a bit uncomfortable to use at times, but it works so so well.
The baked blush is a throwback for me. I used to use a baked bronzer way back when I was first using makeup and I always swore by it. This brand is a bit more shimmery and claims it is a blush/illuminator/bronzer all in one. I currently use the ‘foreplay’ color, which is a peachy pink color and is gorgeous on slightly tanned skin. There is a slight glaze on top, which I recommend removing and the pigment is much more intense. You can just take a wet tissue or wet wipe and just do a quick swipe on top and it will remove the top layer. After doing that, the pigment is gorgeous and I love the shimmery look and the vibrant color. These also offer some gorgeous darker colors that I am needing to try.
This is a bit pricier for the budget buys but a LOT cheaper than a cream blush from a department store. If you have never used a cream blush, you are missing out. The pigment this provides and the color it offers is extremely gorgeous on the skin. I use the ‘flushed’ color, which is a bright pink color. It applies so smoothly. It looks a bit more intense in person but it goes on quite light and is incredibly buildable.
This is a wet mascara, so if you have never used one, this is just a heads up. The brush on this is probably my favorite part, with the curled wand and the separation of the notches. I love how it applies and how well it lifts and separates. It curls my lashes so well and does such a great job of separating as well. The only thing is, you do have to use a few more layers and build it a bit more in order to get thicker lashes. Other than that, this is my new go-to mascara. PS the waterproof version of this is awful!
Maybelline wins in my book for best budget mascaras. This is the best buildable mascara and I discovered it after seeing it on the Lauren Conrad website. It is the softest mascara I have ever used and I usually layer it under another mascara. I love it because I can put on a ton of layers and it never clumps. It doesn’t run, even when I am sweating, and it is so light and perfect for summer.
So obviously this is a bit pricier, but still a bit cheaper than some other palettes. Also, it comes with an added eyeshadow primer, which is absolutely amazing. I listed it on here because I bought it at Kohl’s and you can use a slew of coupons on it, Kohl’s cash, etc. Some people have quite an aversion to Kohl’s but they have some great products and have been stepping up their game recently. I love this palette, along with the golden palette they also offer. The colors are much more aligned with shades I normally wear and the pigment is phenomenal.
I used to swear by MAC eyeshadows until I started using these! For eyeshadows that I use a lot, I use these. They last me quite a long time and the colors are just gorgeous. The pigment is amazing and if you use a primer, the color lasts all day, even through massive amounts of sweating. They offer so many colors and I love their neutral shades. Quite a few people (where I linked it) have complained about it being too shimmery (obviously you can see the glitter) or it wears off easily, but I have not had any issues with either.
My favorite face primer! It reduces the redness a bit, not as much as promised but enough for me. I have a bit redder skin pretty much all year round. This primer reduces it a bit, but it does quite a bit more. It is amazing for reducing the appearance of larger pores and even the fine lines under my eyes. I use it a lot in summer just to give my face a fresher feel, since I don’t really wear foundation. It is a bit thicker, so a little goes a very, very long way! It is a fantastic primer to layer under foundation and it is amazing for the price.
I do not want to overwhelm everyone with too many products, so I tried to narrow it down to products that I use on a daily basis. Please let me know your thoughts and any questions that you may have! Would love to hear your feedback! I would also love to know if you would like another one like this, as I have plenty more beauty products: good and bad! Have a lovely weekend!
