Hey all and happy Monday! I hope you all had such an amazing weekend! This weekend I had the pleasure of speaking on a panel with 3 other lovely bloggers. We spoke at the Bridges Tour, which was a concert held by the amazing Kierra Sheard. The panel and concert were so amazing and so inspiring! I have included some of the pictures from the event below!
I thought I would share with you the dress that I wore to this event on Saturday. I bought this dress on Eloquii after trying it on in a larger size at a bridal event a few weeks back. I thought it would make such a statement, so I figured I needed to wear it somewhere big. At the panel, I spoke a little about how I started my blog because I could never relate to a lot of other bloggers out there. While I love their style and love following them, I cannot fit into so many of the pieces that other ladies wear (even if I try to). I straddle the fine line between “normal” sizes and plus, and find myself sometimes struggling to find the correct fit.
This dress is such a statement and I need a few more places to wear it! It does run a size small, in my opinion. I would recommend sizing up if you do decide to buy this beauty! I decided to pair it with pink shoes to keep the outfit a bit more fun an exciting, and enjoy the last few days of summer colors.
Since speaking on the panel, I have received a ton of questions via email and DM, and I would like to address them all in one forum, so it makes it a bit easier. If you have any questions for me, about anything, feel free to leave them below and I will answer them in a post on Friday!
