Hey all and wishing you a very happy Wednesday! How has your week been going so far? I will be bringing back Workwear Wednesday starting next week, so hopefully you are a bit excited!
So, this skirt is quite a statement and obviously something not a lot of people would wear. I like to keep most of my fashion wearable, but from time to time, I like to push the limits of wearable fashion. I believe in dressing up for every occasion, and this day was no exception. I had originally planned to take these photos in front of another backdrop, but it was being blocked by some people with tents for some cause, so I switched to this one instead. I think the photos turned out well, and I liked that the color scheme was still mainly pinks!
As I was taking photos, people were stopping and waving at me, which was quite hilarious. A lot of Chicago murals are in alleys, parking lots, or on streets that are not so busy. This mural is on a fairly busy street where a lot of people drive by. Someone actually rolled down their window to tell me they loved my skirt, and another car was waving and giving me the thumbs up. Whenever people are staring when I take photos, I always wave in the middle of shoots….. I find it a bit more entertaining. I like to enjoy my shoots as much as possible, so there are always a TON of bloopers in my photo albums from each shoot.
I would love to know: Would you wear a skirt like this? How do you feel when taking fashion photos or posing when it’s on a busy street or somewhere busy?
