Hey everyone and happy happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week! This week has been a bit crazy and I am pretty sure that I looked insanely tired most of this week haha. I think I need a major reset or some more time to sleep.
So, I received this plaid coat from Chicwish about a month or two ago… and I loved that the plaid stripes were pink. I like that it was a bit brighter and a bit more fun. I am so used to seeing gray and black, so the pink was a nice change for me.
In wearing this coat, I thought wearing a white tunic, or something similar would be kind of boring. Instead, I went a bit monochrome, and added a gray turtleneck underneath. I have worn this one in burgundy a few times on the blog, and I loved it enough to get both colors. The price point ($20) is really good and it is super cute and comfy.
I then paired a more simple pair of jeans with it, as I thought too much distressing would not work. I added a pair of pink heels to offset the pink in the coat. Also, I have a pair of silver shoes originally and it was too much!
So, this mural in the first photo is from a local artist named Justus Roe and she has painted murals, fences, and walls all over the city. I have used her colorful walls for sooo many backdrops. Feel free to drop by her site or find her on instagram (@justusroe). The second mural I have posed in front of multiple times for different outfits, and I have used their murals quite extensively in my instagram and blog photos as well. You can check them out: Mix Masters Murals. They are a duo that paints murals all over as well, and their insta is pretty cool as well (@mixmastersmurals)! I love giving credit back to the artists if possible, and I know I don’t do it enough!
