Hey all and happy Workwear Wednesday! Finally back with another workwear look and it’s a good one! Probably one of my favorite ones in a while, not that I don’t love them all haha.
I have a tough time finding skirts, as I have fairly large hips and a small waist. I think that is why I tend to be drawn to dresses more often, as I find them to fit better throughout! This skirt is one of the first that I have purchased in years without some sort of elastic in the waistband and I was so excited! If you are a curvier lady or have larger hips, I would suggest sizing up on this, as there is no elastic at all!
I decided to pair it with a black top…. obviously because it matched. I liked this top because of the slight ruffle detailing on the shoulders, making it a bit more fun! I went with a pair of fuchsia wedges to just add that pop of color!
This mural is one of my favorite finds and is done by a group that paints a bunch in the city. I am sad to say that I have used a bunch of their murals and never knew! So, YolloCalli is an arts reach program for youth in the Chicagoland area, which is something near and dear to my own heart. As some of you know from snap and insta stories, I work in schools and love anything that involves students in positive ways! This one was painted with Gloria Goe and her instagram is HERE! I’ve linked both, so make sure to give a quick check to both if you have a second!
