Hey all and happy Wednesday to everyone! The weather is still soooo rough here, so it has been pretty miserable lately! I am dying for any warm weather at this point!
Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by the lovely Julie Hightower! The event benefitted the Daisie Foundation, which is something near and dear to my heart. The event was a derby-themed party with a whole lot of amazing bites, a fashion show, and some amazing guest speakers!
I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in the fashion show and helped to model a line from Lane Bryant! I was gifted this in exchange for modeling it during the fashion show and styling it up a bit. I get a lot of sizing questions on pieces, so this dress is a 14/16 and it does run big. I had it altered a bit in the waist and shoulders, so that the fit was a bit tighter. I do love it and think it is such a pretty dress and so on trend. The belt is also from Lane Bryant but no longer available online! I threw in a Kate Spade bag for this look and then some fun shoes!
I have received a bunch of questions about these, and have not really been able to find them online where they are available! I bought them in store at Nordstrom Rack and I will be linking them below, just so people know the name! They are called the Solana Wedges and run true to size!
