Chicago Pride Fest with DSW

Hey all! Hope you all are having such a fabulous week so far! I know last week I touched a bit upon Chicago Pride Fest and told you I would discuss it a bit more. Well, today is the day to share all the deets and some fun pictures as well!
This was my first Pride Fest, so I was super excited to check it out and really see what it was all about! DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) is doing a fun tour around the USA, and they are making 7 stops at events all around the country! They asked me to join them on their “March On USA Tour” at Pride Fest in Chicago!
I honestly went into Chicago Pride Fest with some expectations and notions of how it would be. Nothing negative of course, but you always have ideas about something you have never been to. Not only was Pride an amazing celebration of love, but it was also a celebration of uniqueness. I loved that people could wear whatever they wanted, dress however they felt, and just feel free. It honestly was such an amazing experience where there was no judgement, no pressure, and just so many happy faces. If you have never been to a Pride Fest before, I strongly suggest attending one in your city!

They had a fun pop-up shop set up with shoe styles exclusively for Chicago Pride Fest, and they sold them there! The pop-up shop was in a booth that they took on each stop of the tour! The Pride Fest stop was a collaboration with Teva and Converse… and all the shoes were so fun, so colorful, and so comfortable!

I had a chance to style both pairs of shoes, and these were the fun rainbow converse! I love how they just make any outfit so bright and fun. I also loved that there is a rainbow mural in the city as well!

You may remember these photos from Instagram! This was my outfit for the day! I wanted to wear something super fun, but also not too hot! It was boiling that day and I promise you, I am so thankful you cannot see how sweaty I was!

These were some photos shot from the top of the pop-up shop! The top had a fun little sitting area with tons of pillows and awesome views of the whole festival! There were so many fun vendors, amazing food, and just friendly people.

If you are looking for some awesome shoes for the summer, I definitely recommend anything from these two brands. I am not going to lie, this was my first time wearing Teva sandals and now I am hooked! I love that they were comfy enough to wear on the mile walk from my car to the fest, and around the festival all day! Converse has been my jam for years, so there is no parting ways with them either! Plus…. You know they support some really cool causes!
