Hey all and happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a wonderful Monday and are enjoying the start to a new week!
I have been trying to diversify my content a bit more this year. I share a lot in stories, but want to push things out a bit more to my IG feed, as well as my blog. Since my IG feed is always so colorful, I want to make sure I am still staying on brand and providing colorful ways to enjoy any city.
Since I do post a lot about Chicago, I wanted my content diversity to start with some pieces and places around Chicago. I wanted to share the things I enjoy in stories, but on a larger scale, with hopefully a bit more detail attached. I have been eating, shopping, drinking, etc… in order to get some good content!
I started vintage shopping in Chicago a few years ago… I know, I was missing out! Honestly though, vintage shopping is always tough when you are curvier, so I usually just stuck to shopping for jewelry or home pieces. Here and there I find clothing I love, but it’s something stretchy or oversized, or just happens to fit.
Lost Girls recently opened up a storefront in Chicago and I was super excited to drop by. First of all, you know I had to drop by because it’s a colorful haven, with a mix of faux animal rugs (my dream)! I also wanted to stop in because Lost Girls houses a brand called Luvsick Plus, which caters to curvy women who also enjoy a bit of vintage shopping. The two brands together really allow for tons of options in different colors, patterns, and textures. Plus, both businesses are female-owned, which is just another reason to drop in!
