Ruffles and Pleats

Hey all and happy Friday! I don’t think I have been this happy to see a Friday in a longgg time. It has been a bit of a rough week, but thankfully it is over!
I wore this look to the grand opening event for the Eloquii store in Chicago! We were doing a Facebook live during the event and I had just a few minutes to throw an outfit together! I wanted everyone to match, so we all went with a blue themed look. I loved this jacket, especially the slight ruffle detailing on the shoulders! I had to make an outfit out of it…. so I tried a few different options. I loved it with the pleated skirt, and thought it was a super fun combo together! I really love monochrome, so an all blue look seemed so perfect to me. Instead of tucking the tank into the skirt, I knotted it instead. It made the look feel a little bit edgier and gave me the vibe I was going for. Tucking it in seemed to cut me off a bit and made me look weird haha.
Hope you all have an amazing Friday and weekend! It has been a scorcher here in Chicago recently… so it has been so tough to even go outside! So if you are having a super warm fall, stay cool!

Love this outfit dear! The color and style of your skirt is super elegant, while the jacket looks really fun.
