Blue Jean Baby

Hey all and happy Monday! Been a while since I have been on here with some fashion stuff… it’s been a crazy month. Dealing with my site crashing, theme crashing, getting it fixed, etc. Trying to make a full comeback and doing this a bit more often!

This jumpsuit called my name as soon as I saw it in the store! I wore it to an Alice & Olivia event recently, which a blogger friend of mine hosted. I have worn it a few other times as well, to a few different parties and events here and there.

My only issue with it, and with so many other pieces is that it is a bit long. I did have to wear very tall heels for it (I’m 5’3″) and it was still a tad bit too long. However, I do like a look that makes me look taller, so keeping the longer bottoms isn’t a huge issue for me!

I have been loving jumpsuits lately, but always shied away from them for a while. I was always a bit more worried about how my lower stomach would look in them, so I always tried to stray away from even picking one while I was shopping. As I get a bit more comfortable with my body and practice more self-love, I like to pick pieces that may push me out of my comfort zone a little bit. I have been gravitating more towards jumpsuits because they make me feel taller and longer, and it’s honestly just a complete look.

This one fits true to size and has a bit of stretch to it. However, like most denim, it did rub off on other clothing and my car seats, so definitely wash it before wearing!

Hey girl! I love the jumpsuit on you! I tend to shy away from them too for fear of how they will make my postpartum mom belly look, but maybe I should reconsider it. It does make you look lean and tall! <3

That’s a lovely jumpsuit, I love the ruffles in the front, they make it look more feminine as denim can look a bit rough sometimes. I love jumpsuits, they’re so comfortable and easy to style but just like yours, the problem I always have with them is that they don’t fit right everywhere. They’re either too big on the chest, too tight on the hips or if they’re long pants, they’re too long…
